Robert Wyman "Bobby" Crawford, 82, husband of 61 years to Bonnie Montgomery Crawford, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016. Born October 22, 1934 in Henry County, KY, Bobby was the son of the late Edward Thomas Crawford and Ethel Trosper Crawford. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lou Ella Crawford and a brother Roger Crawford.

Bobby retired as a Tech Sergeant in 1974 from the U.S. Air Force. He served in Vietnam and received GCMDL with 2 bronze loops and AFLSA with 1 bronze OLC. Days after retiring from the Air Force, Bobby joined the Lawrenceburg Police Department where he worked until December of 1993 retiring as a Lieutenant. In his retirement years, Bobby enjoyed playing golf and was very competitive playing rook with the Rook Club held at the Anderson County Senior Citizens building.

Along with his wife Bonnie, Bobby is survived by a daughter, Sondra Crawford O'Canna and her husband Ted of Versailles, a grandson, Ian Crawford O'Canna of Versailles, and a sister, Edwinna Crawford of New Mexico.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 12th beginning at 11:00 AM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. Jerry Montgomery will officiate the service. Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 11th from 5 – 7 PM at the funeral home.
