Rickey Lee Shouse, 64, of Mt. Eden, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at his home. Born April 11, 1953 in Anderson County, KY, Rickey was the son of the late Marvin Lynn Shouse and Eva Lorene Brown Shouse.

Along with his parents, Rickey was preceded in death by a sister, Nettie Jane Moeller, and a brother, William Lynn Shouse.

Rickey was a 1971 graduate of Anderson County High School and was a 34 year employee of General Electric in Louisville. A member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church, he enjoyed hunting and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

Rickey is survived by four children, Justin (Dawn) Shouse of Springfield, Joshua Shouse of Frankfort, Nathan Shouse and Kassi King of Russell Springs; a sister, Kim (Mark) Bentley of Mt. Eden; a grandson, Chevy; and two step-grandchildren, Shawn and Nathan Allen.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, Sept. 10 ^th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Anderson County. Visitation will be after 10 AM Sunday until the time of service.
