Funeral Service Broadcast for Regina Grigsby

Regina "Crickett" Scott Grigsby, 96, wife of the late William Edward Grigsby, Sr., passed away January 11, 2025 at her home in Lawrenceburg.  Born in Larue County, KY on December 19, 1928, Regina was the daughter of the late Herbert Scott and Alice Wicker Scott.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Scott Grigsby; a sister, Sue Brockman; and a brother, Darrell Scott.

Mrs. Grigsby was a homemaker and former employee of Texas Instruments in Versailles.  She also was a member of the Fox Creek Homemakers and the Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church where she served as bookkeeper for over 30 years.

Mrs. Grigsby is survived by her children, William "Bill" Grigsby, Jr. (wife Donna) of Shelbyville and Sherry R. Cox of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, Jessica (Mike) Kinnick, Brett (Ana) Grigsby, Kellie (Sean) Bowman, Shelly Cheuvront, and Will Whetzel; 12 great grandchildren; and her sister-in-law, Jo Lou Scott of Seattle, WA.

Visitation will be 10 am – 12 noon Wednesday, January 15, 2025 followed by the service beginning at 12:00 noon Wednesday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Pastor Rodney Stewart-Wilcox will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Kinnick, Brett Grigsby, Sean Bowman, Ethan Lawson, Will Whetzel, and Jason Grigsby.
