Rebecca Denise "Becky" VanWinkle, 30, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Saturday, August 6, 2022 in Lawrenceburg.

She was born in Frankfort, KY on September 11, 1991.  Formerly worked as a CNA at Frankfort Rehabilitation and Care Center in Frankfort and she currently worked at Jimmy John's in Frankfort.  She loved singing and performed in the Country Music Show, at church, and once at Renfro Valley.

Rebecca is survived by her parents, Ann and Pat Rucker, Allen and Robin VanWinkle, all of Lawrenceburg; her fiancé, Jason Thornberry; grandparents, Barry and Barbara Rucker, Henrietta and Chuck Powell, all of Lawrenceburg and Bill VanWinkle of Mt. Vernon; half siblings, Conner Anzures and Keely Anzures; aunts and uncles, James and Clellie Lewis, Angel and Casey Hamilton, Linda Tate, Robin and Carl Anglin, Kay and Larry Curtis, Cheryl and David Brown, Rebecca and Mike May, Chrystal and Jamie Rowland, Shelby Verhoeven (Andrew Jackson); a special niece Catelyn Lewis; and a host of other family members.  She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Joan Stevens and Wilma Rucker.

Visitation will be 11 am – 2 pm on Friday, August 12, 2022 followed by the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Morton McIntyre, Sr., Don Jackson and Mike Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Thornberry, Pat Rucker, James Lewis, Catelyn Lewis, Collin Shuttleworth, and Brian Fry.
