Raymond Franklin Phillips, Jr., 51, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born August 3, 1964 in Frankfort, KY, he was the son of the late Raymond Franklin Phillips and Arlene Belle Gaines Cox Phillips.

Junior was a 1985 graduate of Anderson County High School, a member of the Alton Baptist Church and currently attended the Family Worship Center. An avid U.K. Basketball fan, Junior had made a scrapbook of the Wildcats each year since 1976. He also enjoyed Bluegrass music, playing the guitar, singing karaoke, and playing with his niece.

Survivors include two brothers, Hugh E. (Betty Jenean) Phillips of Harrodsburg and Donnie B. (Tammy) Cox of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and a special friend, Kelly.

Funeral services will be 10:30 am Saturday, Nov 14th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Andrade officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Friday.
