Ralph Franklin "Ralphie" Gamble, Jr., 57, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at his home.  Born June 13, 1962 in Frankfort, KY, he was the son of the late Ralph Franklin Gamble, Sr. and Julia Shramm Gamble.

Ralphie was a 1981 graduate of Franklin County High School and following school served in the U.S. Army.  He worked as a boat mechanic and operated Aqua Marine II in Frankfort.  A member of the Kentucky River Pirates, he loved being on the water, joking and performing magic tricks.

Ralphie is survived by his four children, Joseph (wife Brandi) Riley, Nathan Gamble, Kevin Gamble and Chasity Killion, all of Lawrenceburg; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Sandra Gamble of Richmond; the mother of his children and close friend, Karen Gamble-Peffer of Lawrenceburg; and his beloved dogs, Spot, Skeeter, and Brownie.

Visitation will be held from 10 – 11:30 AM Tuesday, March 10 ^th followed by the service beginning at 11:30 AM Tuesday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Bro. Bill Wise will officiate the service.  Burial with military honors will be held at 1:30 PM Tuesday, March 10 ^th at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County, KY.

Serving as pallbearers will be Wayne Wiley, Will Gamble, David Gamble, Nathan Gamble, Jake Wise, and Jon Shramm.  Wayne Blankenship will serve as an honorary bearer.
