Ralph Lenvil Breeding, 85, of Lawrenceburg, husband of 62 years of Wanda Sparks Breeding, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015 at Mayfair Manor in Lexington. Born July 11, 1929 in Russell County, KY, he was the son of the late John and Rose Ashbrook Breeding.

Mr. Breeding received a BS Degree in Education from Eastern KY University and served as a Corporal in the U.S. Army. After moving his family from Russell County, KY to Lawrenceburg in 1957, Mr. Breeding began his teaching and coaching career at Sand Spring and later at Anderson Junior High and Anderson Middle School. He also coached at the Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg and in the First Baptist Church league. He was a member, deacon emeritus and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church.

Along with his wife he is survived by a son, Greg Breeding and his wife Vanessa, and a grandson, John Hardy Breeding, all of Lawrenceburg. Including his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Flossie Janes and an infant brother.

Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday, March 24th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Ehr officiating. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Monday. Committal service with military honors will be 2:30 pm Tuesday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County, KY.
