LOUISVILLE – Phyllis Jean Robinson Sims, 85, of Louisville formerly of Lawrenceburg, passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville. She is the widow of Joseph Timothy "J.T." Sims and daughter of the late John H. and Lela Willham Robinson.

Born August 30, 1928 in Anderson County, KY, she was a homemaker, a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Mercer County, KY, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Phyllis is survived by three children, John Hugh (Judith) Sims of Harrodsburg, Betty (James) Hornback of Sonora, KY, and Brenda S. Sims of Louisville; 9 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; a brother, Marcus Robinson and a sister Azile Robinson (Larry) Chisholm, all of Lawrenceburg.

Including her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a great grandson, Robert Allen Lindauer, II, a sister Levena Watts, and two brothers John Robinson, Jr. and Robert A. Robinson.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, June 26th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Will Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg. Visitation will be 6 – 9 pm Wednesday.

Casketbearers will be Robert, Chuck, and Jason Lindauer, Troy Dodson, Bryant Sims, and Michael Mathis.
