Phyllis G. Knox West, 84, wife of the late Elzie Lee West, of Lawrenceburg, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was born Sept. 27, 1931, the daughter of the late George Raymond Knox and Eloise Hawes Bowman Knox.

Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by three brothers, George Raymond Knox, Jr., James Eugene Knox, and Pete Knox.

Mrs. West retired as a receptionist with the Governor's Office of Technology and was a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church where she was baptized.

Survivors include two daughters, Eloise Quarles and her husband Church of Frankfort and Benita Young and her husband Troy of Lawrenceburg; six grandchildren, Crystal (Mark) Harrod, Rebecca (Tommy) Roberts, Matthew (Tiffany) Quarles, Myles (Natalie) Young, Martin (Jessica) Young, Marcus Young and his friend Amy Little; seven great grandchildren, Allison Shelton Harrod, Christian Thomas Roberts, Brayden Luke Roberts, Lynlee Asher Quarles, Ansley Kate Roberts, Bailey Shea Young, and Jude Easton Quarles.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Saturday, Nov. 28th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with remembrances by her son-in-law Church Quarles and her grandchildren. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Friday.

Matthew Quarles, Myles, Martin, and Marcus Young, Mark Harrod, and Tommy Roberts will serve as pallbearers.
