Service Broadcast for Philip Brooks

In cherished memory of Philip Harrison Brooks, an 18-year-old high school senior and home school student, whose vibrant spirit touched the hearts of all who knew him.

Philip, beloved son of Jason and Carolyn Brooks, adored brother to Kristen Brooks Roso, Ashley Brooks, and Matthew Brooks, leaves an enduring legacy that will forever be etched in our hearts.

As a member of Boy Scout Troop 37 and a participant in BTB Homeschool co-op in Frankfort and Chil Homeschool co-op in Lawrenceburg, Philip embraced life's varied experiences with passion.  Philip was a skilled drummer, avid video game enthusiast, collector of LEGO sets, practitioner of karate, and talented writer.

His diverse hobbies reflected the richness of his personality.  With his love of animals, deep well of compassion, and a witty sense of humor, Philip's presence left an indelible mark on the lives of those fortunate enough to know him.

Philip planned on attending college in the coming fall, looking forward to exploring multiple avenues of his future career.  His profound intellectual curiosity and passion for movies and literature indicate that he may have chosen to bless the world with his unique storytelling talents.

May the love of family and the memories we hold dear ensure that Philip's spirit lives on, never to be forgotten.

A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 11 AM – 2 PM followed by a Celebration of Philip's Life beginning at 2:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Pastor Jeff Douglas will lead the service.
