Perry Russell Brabson, 73, of Lawrenceburg passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015 at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington. Born July 18, 1941 in Otto, NC, he was the son of the late Alex Nimrod and Bonnie Rae Melton Brabson.

Mr. Brabson was a retired employee of GTE Telephone in Lexington and attended the Freedom Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Evelyn Diane Perry Brabson, a daughter Melissa Jean Brabson Oberto and her husband David Joseph Oberto of Lexington. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by ten brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, Feb. 7th at Freedom Baptist Church, 1010 Powell Taylor Road, Lawrenceburg, KY. Bro. Chris Parrish will officiate. Burial will follow in the Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 11 am – 1 pm Saturday at the church.
