Pernell James Holt, 56, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020.  Born March 17, 1964 in Lexington, KY, Pernell was the son of the late Robert E. "Bob" Holt and Barbara Ann Proctor Holt.

Along with his parents, Pernell was preceded in death by a sister, Deonia Michelle Holt.

Pernell enjoyed horses, going on trail rides and the outdoors.  He worked in construction for Brad Smith and Eddie Carey.

Pernell is survived by his two sons, Robert Wayne Holt of Indiana and Brandon James Holt of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren, Isabella and Dallas Holt; a sister, Debbie Riley and her husband Walter of Lawrenceburg; and a brother, Troy Franklin Holt of Frankfort.

Private services will be held at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Pastors Mark Studler and Kenny Robinson will officiate the service.  Burial will be in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.
