Peggy Sue Byrd, 52, of Lawrenceburg, died April 17, 2019 in Lawrenceburg. Peggy was born July 23, 1966 in Wilmore, KY to the late Ralph and Laura Bell (Gibbons) Byrd.

Including her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Lee Lear, Ida Matherly and Jennie Gregory; and a brother, Orville P. Byrd.

Peggy was a former employee with Florida Tile in Lawrenceburg, a member of Golden Pathway Fellowship and enjoyed gardening of all types. Peggy was a very loving and caring person, and all of her nieces and nephew would quickly tell you that.

Peggy is survived by two sisters, Margaret Gay and Nancy Maddox, both of Lawrenceburg; three brothers, Ben E. Byrd, Dean Byrd and Chester Byrd, all of Lawrenceburg; several nieces and nephews, and a special friend, Jeffery R. Curtsinger of Lawrenceburg.

Services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastor Sharol Byrd and Associate Pastor Margaret Gay officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 A.M., till time of service Saturday.

Casket Bearers will be John William Mitchell, Michael Paul Mitchell, Chad Byrd, Brandon Maddox, Luke Maddox and Joe Shannon Gregory.
