Pauline Kessler Funeral Service Recording

Pauline Jones Kessler, age 91, wife of the late Maurice Conrad Kessler, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024, at her home in Frankfort. Pauline was born on November 7, 1932 in Hazard, KY to the late James E. Jones and Arizona Turner Jones.

Pauline "Mom" was a devoted member of Antioch Christian Church, where she served as treasurer for many years. She also worked as a bookkeeper and a medical office clerk at her son in law's medical practice for several years. A passionate sports enthusiast, she especially loved cheering for the University of Kentucky basketball team. Pauline found joy and created many cherished memories with family and friends over the years and loved them all fiercely. Her love for her dogs was an important part of her life.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Geraldine "Jerry" Andriot and nephew, Jeffrey Andriot.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Melanie Kessler Weisberg (husband Dr. Jan J. Weisberg) of Frankfort, two grandchildren, Stephanie Disponett of Frankfort and Lieutenant Colonel Chris "Bubba" (wife Jenny) Disponett of Fort Knox, KY; eight grandchildren, Alexia Flora, Alec Flora, Tanner McClanahan, Zachary McClanahan, Alana Disponett, Olivia Disponett, Christopher Disponett, and Lilly-Anne Disponett; and her loyal dog, Bella.

"Mom" will be dearly missed by her daughter Melanie, who had the blessing of many wonderful, cherished years with Mom living beside her.  She will always be her light, guiding and loving her till they are together again.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12th at Antioch Christian Church, 334 Antioch Lane, Willisburg, KY, with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Lawrenceburg, and 10:00 – 11:00 AM Saturday, October 12th at Antioch Christian Church. Bart Price and Rick Burdette will officiate the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Lieutenant Colonel Chris Disponett, Alec Flora, Tanner McClanahan, Zachary McClanahan, Todd Hill, and Mizallen Melton.

Serving as honorary bearers will be Paul Andriot Jr., Mark Andriot, Dr. James D. Quarles, Jason Flora, Bill Moore, Chris McClanahan, Sean Sudduth, Donald Richie,  Antioch Church Family, Rose Carolyn Waldridge, Caregivers Tina Boyd, Melissa Scott and others who cared for her recently and many friends who loved and called her "Mom".
