Pauline Underwood Cook, age 96, wife of the late Earl Francis Cook, passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Estill County, KY, on March 28, 1929, to the late Douglas Underwood and Ezra Richardson Hilton.

Pauline was a member of Sand Spring Baptist Church. She retired from J.T.S. Brown Distillery after devoting over two decades of service. Showcasing her warmth and generosity, Pauline was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, a past Mother Advisor for The Rainbow Girls, and Past President of the Fox Creek and Anderson County Homemakers. She had a special gift for nurturing those she loved dearly and took great care of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. When she was able, she enjoyed being outside and took pride in keeping her lawn cared for and tending to her flowers. In her downtime, she found joy in the simple pleasures of cooking and sewing.

Along with her husband and parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Susan Cook Adams; and several brothers and sisters.

Pauline is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Katherine Nicole Adams and Joseph Earl Adams; great grandchildren, Cameron Stigers, Chelsey Stigers, Xavier Hill, and Joselyn Hill; great-great grandchildren, Isaiah Stigers, Elijah Stigers, and Rylee Stigers; and a half-brother, Douglas Underwood.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, immediately followed by a graveside service at Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Larry Camic will officiate the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Xavier Hill, Ricky Hill, Thomas Baxter, Tarijah Baxter, Isaiah Stigers, and Brian Shackelford. Joselyn Hill will serve as an honorary bearer.
