Paul Granville Drury, 72, of Anderson County, husband of 54 years of Peggy Jo Drury, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born Nov. 10, 1942 in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late Charlie Earl and Ethel Pearl Barnett Drury.
Paul was an employee of Four Roses Distillery and a farmer. He attended Antioch Christian Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing softball and spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Along with his wife, Paul is survived by three children, Timmy (Debbie) Drury, Jeff Drury, and Paula Jo Drury (Chris) Hayes all of Anderson County; 7 grandchildren, Miranda Drury, T.J. (Alex) Drury, Emily (Jerry) Milam, Granville Hayes, Ally Hayes, Matt Hayes, and Christa (Jody) Mitchell; 1 great grandchild, Hayden Naylor; and a brother, Winston (Geraldine) Drury of Lawrenceburg.
Including his parents, he was predeceased by two sisters, Lillian Peach, Alma Jean Darnell, and a brother, James Earl "Jimmy" Drury.
Funeral services will be 2 pm Monday, Dec. 14th at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Drury and Rev. Bart Price officiating. Burial will follow on the Drury Farm in Anderson County. Visitation will be 12 – 8 PM Sunday.
T.J. Drury, Granville Hayes, Jimmy Young, Steve Goodlett, Daril Ulery, Richard Wakefield, Bill Coulter, and Jackie Barnett will serve as pallbearers. Paul's nieces and nephews will serve as honorary bearers.
