Patrick Balfe Mackay, age 81, husband of the late Priscilla Kay Uhl Mackay, passed away Monday, September 2, 2024.  Patrick was born May 27, 1943 in Ontario, Canada to the late James H. Mackay and Lucy Leane Balfe Mackay.

Including his wife and parents, Patrick was preceded in death by two daughters, Lisa Darlene Mackay Quinn and Ethel Regina Flaherty.

Patrick was a retired Commander SGT Major in the U.S. Army and a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Peewee Valley. He was an avid UL Basketball and Football fan and traveled to several areas playing pool and golf.

Patrick is survived by his granddaughter, Kayla Marie Wise and her husband Andrew Michael, who were also his loving caregivers for many years; his five great grandchildren, Keaton Johnson, Kinley Johnson, Nash Wise, Teagan Wise and Madalyn Wise.

A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon, Monday, September 9, 2024 at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery Pavilion with Dr. Jeff Eaton officiating.
