Patricia Joyce Morris Monroe, 45, wife of the late Jonathan Lee "Jonny" Monroe, passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 at Baptist Health Louisville. Born August 7, 1971 in Bardstown, KY, Patty was the daughter of the late Patricia Coyle Murphy.

Patty worked as a waitress for several Waffle Houses. She attended the Ninevah Christian Church and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Patty is survived by two children, Jo-Nathan Lee Monroe and Amanda Monroe Rucker and her Jonathon, all of Lawrenceburg; two grandchildren, Cody Lee Rucker and Jaxen Edward Rucker; two sisters, Becky M. Calvert (her husband Kevin of Lawrenceburg and Ellen Morris of Frankfort; her mother-in-law Shirley Cox; sisters-in-law, Lisa VaNatta and Robin Ransdell; her brother-in-law David Monroe; and her special friend, Timothy Ruble.

Services will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday, Nov. 29th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Terry Cooper officiating. Visitation will be 3 – 7 pm Tuesday. Cremation will follow the services.
