Patricia Ann Willis McCoun, 74, wife of Scott McCoun, passed away on August 28, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Born on December 12, 1950, in Somerset, KY, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd E. Willis and Iris Gay Stratton Willis.

Pat dedicated her life to caring for others through her lifelong career as a nurse. She worked at various hospitals in the area and was most recently employed as a registered nurse at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Outside of her profession, she enjoyed collecting dollhouses, antiques, and old coins. She also loved growing a variety of flowers in her garden.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 47 years, Scott McCoun; her children, Jennifer Riley (Mike), Wes McCoun (Kim), and Matt McCoun; her grandchildren, Dylan Riley (Megan), Kaitlyn Riley, and Jayke McCoun; her great-grandchildren, Talan, Lukas, and Tanner Riley; her sister, Nikki Higgins (Steve); and her brother, Lloyd E. Willis Jr. (Jenny).

In addition to her parents, Pat was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Gayle Willis Savage.

In accordance with her wishes, Pat chose cremation. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
