Orville Lee Robinson, 93, of Lawrenceburg, husband of 73 years of Mabel Buntain Robinson, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2015 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born October 27, 1922 in Anderson County, Orville was the son of the late Sanford Lee and Elsie Kays Robinson. An employee for over 45 years of Wild Turkey Distillery, he previously served as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army during W.W. II. He was a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church, the Anderson Masonic Lodge #90, and enjoyed working in his yard, fishing, hunting, playing his guitar and singing.

Along with his wife, Orville is survived by a daughter, Sandra R. Cassidy of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Michael David Cassidy II and Dawn Michelle Cassidy, both of Phoenix, AZ; and two sisters, Jessie Meier of TN and Hazel Keightly of Nicholasville.

Funeral services will be 3 pm Wednesday, Dec. 30th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Dr. Mike Hamrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be from 1 pm until the time of service at 3 pm Wednesday.
