Ollie Paul Sayre, 97, of Lawrenceburg, widow of Walter S. Sayre, passed away Friday, January 02, 2015 at her home.

Born Nov. 1, 1917 in Caryville, TN, she is the daughter of the late Tyne and Eliza Jane Sailor Paul. Ollie worked as a janitor for Austin Nicholls Distillery retiring in 1985 and for the Ernie Ripy family since 1968. She was dedicated member of the Tyrone Baptist Church for 75 years.

Ollie is survived by three daughters, Annette Dugger of Shelbyville, Dianna (Fred) Davey of Madison, AL, and Donna Sayre (Norman Craig) of Lawrenceburg; three sons, Marion Sayre, Don Sayre, and Troy Sayre, all of Lawrenceburg; 28 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 40 great-great grandchildren; and 1 great-great-great grandchild.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four daughters, Betty Sue Brooks, Lorita Nickerson, Paulette Helton, and Barbara Sayre; three grandsons; one great grandchild; and two sisters, Luana Winkle and Media Richmond.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday, Jan. 6th at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Webb and Bro. George Dye officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Monday.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Sayre, Walter and Charles Nickerson, Rusty Sayre Jason Dugger, Chris Davey, Zachary and Phillip Drury. Members of the Waford family will serve as honorary bearers.
