Norma Lou (Rogers) Barnhart, 86, of Frankfort, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, after a long battle with dementia at The Lantern at Morning Pointe in Frankfort, KY.

She was born January 7, 1939, at home in Franklin, NE to the late Bert and Hazel Milem Rogers of Franklin, NE.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 9 siblings, and 1 grandson.

She graduated in 1956 from Franklin High School and graduated in 1985 from Kaskaska Community College with a LPN.

She married George W. Barnhart, Jr., on February 5, 1961, in Wichita, KS. Over the course of their 63 years together, they had 3 daughters, Kelly (Brent) Combs of Colorado Springs, CO; Kim (Burt) Paden of Lawrenceburg, KY; and Kerry (Frank) Paden of Lawrenceburg, KY. They have 9 surviving grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren.

Norma was a faithful Christian and was a member of the church of Christ for over 50 years. She enjoyed serving and caring for others, especially the elderly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Lawrenceburg Church of Christ, 558 S. Main St., Lawrenceburg, KY on April 21, 2025, at 1:00p.m. Interment will be in Ponca City, OK.
