Lynnette Gayle "Nettie" Halvorson, 81, wife of the late Dale Theodore Halvorson, passed away December 4, 2020 at the home of her son in Lawrenceburg.  Born September 2, 1939 in Good Thunder, MN, Nettie was the daughter of the late Edwin and Aletha Paige Dalluge.

Along with her husband and parents, Nettie was preceded in death by two sons, Lonny and Glenn Halvorson, and a brother, Michael Dalluge.

A former information specialist at the University of Minnesota in Mankato, Nettie also worked as a receptionist for the Frankfort Medicaid Office. She was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Lawrenceburg.  A current member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church, she formerly was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Good Thunder, MN where she served as secretary of PTA, taught Sunday school, vacation Bible school and led women's Bible study.  She served as treasurer for the Pioneer Indian Day Committee and as den mother for cub scouts and thoroughly enjoyed reading.

Nettie is survived by her children, Shawn (Jody) Halvorson of Brush, CO, Scott (Deb) Halvorson of Lawrenceburg, Kelly (Letitia) Halvorson of Good Thunder, MN, Rodney (Kim) Halvorson of Lawrenceburg, and Kip (Kim) Halvorson of Lawrenceburg; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two brothers, Larry Dalluge of N. Mankato, MN, Gerald (Dianne) Dalluge of Lindstrom, MN; and a siter-in-law, Janet Dalluge.

Private services will be held at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Dr. Mike Hamrick will officiate the service.  Cremation will follow the services.

To abide by the regulations set forth by the State of Kentucky all persons attending a visitation or funeral (public or private) will be required to wear a face covering and practice social distancing.  Twenty five people, chosen by the family, may attend the services at the funeral home/church.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
