Funeral Service for Nathan Allen

Nathan Richard Allen, age 88, husband of twelve years to Mary Jane Bailey Allen, passed away Sunday March 5, 2023.  Nathan was born October 13, 1934 in Hazel Green, Wisconsin to Ernest James and Bessie Champion Allen.

Including his parents, Nathan was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha Marie Pena Allen;  and four brothers, John, Keith, Charles and Robert Allen.

Nathan was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Christian Church, a graduate of Anderson County High School class of 1952,  and was a United States Navy veteran.

Including his wife Mary Jane, Nathan is survived by his son Robert Dale Allen and his wife Wanda of Lawrenceburg; two step children, Kevin Stettler and his wife Tammie of Shenandoah, Iowa and Mary Catherine Anderson of Independence, Missouri; a grandson, Josh Allen and his wife Nikki;  two great grandchildren, Zach Allen and Nick Allen; eight step grandchildren;  two step great grandchildren;  several brother and sister-in- laws and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M.,  Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Wheeler officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M., till time of service at 1:00 P.M., Friday.

Casket bearers will be Josh Allen, Zach Allen, Wynn Allen, Howard Mountjoy, Doug Herald and Jeff Noel.

Honorary bearers will be the Early Morning Diary Queen Crew.
