Nancy Colene Simpson Perkins, 67, of Lawrenceburg formerly of Greensburg, KY, wife of Clarence E. Perkins, passed away August 2, 2022 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY.  Born in Greensburg, KY on May 4, 1955, Nancy was the daughter of the late Thurman Simpson and Mary Lois Paxton Simpson.

Nancy was a retail clerk for the Kroger Company in Frankfort and Lawrenceburg stores for 40 years.  A member of the Alton Christian Church, she enjoyed Southern Gospel Music, gardening, wildlife, baking and sewing for charity, traveling, especially out West.

Including Clarence, her husband of 43 years, she is survived by a sister, Denise Walsh (husband Bill) of Campbellsville, a brother, Randall Simpson of Greensburg, a niece, Shannon Flowers, and four nephews, Hayden Walsh, Trey Walsh, both of Campbellsville, Allen Jones and Travis Jones of Virginia Beach, VA, mother-in-law, Marie Perkins of Virginia Beach, VA, and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be 10 – 11 AM Tuesday, August 9, 2022 followed by the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, Lawrenceburg, KY.  Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. will officiate the service.  Graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Central Time on Tuesday at the Bethlehem Cemetery in Greensburg, KY.

Serving as pallbearers will be Hayden Walsh, Trey Walsh, Travis Jones, Troy Jones, John Kelly, and Lawrence Walsh.
