Nancy Jewell (Monroe) Dearmon, 86, widow of Roy C. Dearmon, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at her home. Born September 26, 1931 in Washington County, KY, Nancy was the daughter of the late William Roscoe Monroe and Mary Lou Yates.

Along with her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by two infant sons, James Russell Satterly and Noel Lee Satterly, a granddaughter Denise Curtsinger, a brother Rudolph Monroe, .

Nancy retired following 27 years as a secretary with the Kentucky Cabinet for Human Resources, Department for Health Services. She also worked for the Anderson County Board of Education. Nancy is a member of the Central Baptist Church. She volunteered with the Blood Mobile and at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She loved being a mother and grandmother and enjoyed traveling with her husband.

Nancy is survived by her three sons, William E. Satterly, Scotty Allen Satterly, and Gayle E. Satterly, all of Lawrenceburg; two grandsons, Michael Satterly and Russell Satterly; three great grandchildren, Dalton Satterly, Austin Sparks, and Taylor Satterly; and two sisters, Norma (Jim) Davis of Louisville and Ima Jean Holbert of Ft. Walton Beach, FL;  a half-sister Sue Milby, and a half-brother Ronnie Monroe

Services will be held on Tuesday, April 10 ^h beginning at 11:00 AM at Central Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 – 8 PM Monday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home, and after 10 AM Tuesday at the church.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Dabored, Dalton Satterly, Russell Satterly, Michael Satterly, Jeff Gaines, and Tony Likins.
