Nancy Geraldine Sea Harlow Cooper, 76, died Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the U.K. Healthcare in Lexington. Nancy was born July 2, 1942 in Gee, Kentucky in Anderson County to the late Arnold Leslie and Beulah (Hoskins) Sea.

Nancy graduated from Western High School in Anderson County and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education at Eastern Kentucky University, there she was chosen to be in the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. Nancy was also in the Honorary Education Society of Kappa Delta PI and Collegiate Pinnacle. Nancy taught in Beavercreek School System of Xenia, Ohio for two years before returning to teach in the Anderson County Kentucky School System. She taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades at Saffell Street Elementary and then moved to Ward Elementary where she taught fourth grade. Nancy taught twenty seven years before retiring, but continued to tutor. As of 2006 she had taught and tutored a total of forty-two- years.

Nancy is survived by her sister, Patsy Sea of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews

Along with her parents Nancy was preceded in death by two brothers, Glendon and David Sea; and a very special niece, Kristel Geraldine Wash.

Services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Chuck Perry officiating.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 A.M., till time of service. Entombment will follow at the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens in Jessamine County.
