Nancy Carolyn Burke Baker, 70, wife of 46 years to Ronald Lee Baker, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. Born April 28, 1947 in Harrodsburg, KY, Nancy was the daughter of the late William Goble Burke and Lucille Mildred Blacketer Burke.

A 1965 graduate of Mercer County High School, Nancy retired following over 30 years of service as an Administrative Assistant with the KY State Government Surface Mining Division of Abandon Mines and Land. She was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church, a KY Colonel and a KY Admiral. Nancy enjoyed fishing with her husband, crocheting, making door wreaths, reading her Bible, and loved her family.

Including her husband, Nancy is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Baker of Louisville; her mother-in-law, Maggie Baker of Lawrenceburg; and her sister-in-law, Glenda Burke of Harrodsburg. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Harry Burke and Billy Don Burke and his wife Jackie.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22 ^nd beginning at 12:00 (noon) at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Dr. Robert F. Ehr will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Hebron Cemetery in Anderson County.   Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday from 10 AM – 12 (noon) at the funeral home.

Serving as pallbearers will be Donald K. Burke, Aaron Burke, Kevin Burke, Michael Burke, Dillon Kid, and Crockett Hupp. Honorary bearers will be Robin Kidd, Vonna Carol Whitenack, Andrea O'Bryan, Alie Burke, Whitney Moore, Devan Hupp, Nikki Rue, and the members of the Sunshine Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church.
