Myra Nevins Searcy, age 77, wife of 59 years to William Ellis "Bill" Searcy, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 in Lexington, KY.  Myra was born September 26, 1947 in Lawrenceburg, KY to the late Paul Revere Nevins and Violet Wooldridge Nevins.

Myra was an active member of Versailles Baptist Church, where she worked in the children's nursery, the GA - Girls in Action and the Jeannie Musin Missionary Group.  She was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoyed making crafts and sewing.

Including her parents, Myra was preceded in death by a son, Sean Searcy; a brother, Danny Nevins; and a sister, Paula Crain.

Including her husband Bill, Myra is survived by a son, Dale Searcy of Versailles; a daughter Suzanne Woodside and her husband Tommy of Frankfort; grandchildren, Matthew Searcy, Shayla Durham, Levi Woodside, Kyle Woodside, Trace Woodside, Emily Searcy, Jessyca Searcy and Paige Searcy; great grandchildren, Drake Searcy, River Woodside and Evelyn Woodside; and a brother, Dickie Nevins of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral service will be 7:00 P.M. Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Jonathan Berry, Connar Alford and Michael Cabell officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. till time of service.  Burial will be 12:30 P.M., Friday, September 26, 2025 at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery.
