Mona Carol (Scobey) Higdon, 82, of Clarksville, TN, wife of 63 years to Robert Edwin Higdon, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018 in Nashville, TN.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Grace Goforth, and a son, Rand Edwin Higdon, and two brothers, Dub Scobey and Ron Scobey.

Mrs. Higdon is survived by her children, Harriet Carol Krannichfeld, Michael Odell Higdon of Clarksville, TN, John Tillman Goforth of Lawrenceburg, KY; 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbie Arneson of Nevada, IA and Sue Avery of Cleveland, MS.

A time of visitation will be held on Sunday, May 6 ^th beginning at 2:00 PM followed by a memorial service beginning at 4:30 PM at Hope Community Church, 5930 U.S. Hwy 127 South, Frankfort, KY 40601.  Pastor Jeff Eaton will officiate the service.
