Moke Jones Service Broadcast

Michael Joe "Moke" Jones, 68, husband of Donna Mae Wilson Jones, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  Moke was born October 23, 1953 in Monahans, TX to the late Clarence Newton Jones and Dr. Janie Louise Wright Jones.

Moke was a retired employee with Kentucky State Government where he worked for the Kentucky Council on Post Secondary Education.  He was a member of Ninevah Christian Church and a former Board Member of Anderson County Recovery.  Moke enjoyed gardening, fishing and working on cars.

Including his wife Donna, Moke is survived by three children, Erin Lea Hale of Frankfort, KY, Heidi L. Thaw and husband Steve of Orange Park, Fl and Kathryn E. Puttkammer of Durham, NC;  a brother, Johnny J. Jones and his wife Alice of Frankfort; a step brother, David Prince and his wife Melanie of Durant, OK;  five grandchildren, Hailey Cochran, Tory Cochran, Kaelan Poorman, Kingsley Poorman and Amelia Thaw;  three great grandchildren, Avery Fathergill, Emersyn Fathergill and Carter Currens;  five nephews, Michael Prince, John Adams III, Joshua Adams, Dan Bikulcius and Brian Bikulcius;  four nieces, Eva Moody, Aubrie Jones, Anna Jones and Holly Grieves; one great nephew and three great nieces.

Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Will Cooper officiating.  Visitation will be Saturday from  10 A.M.  till time of service Saturday.
