Minnie Bell (Paynter) Bannister, 95, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her home in Woodford County, KY. Born November 12, 1922 in Woodford County, Minnie was the daughter of the late Robert "Bob" Painter and Sallie (Taylor) Paynter.

Along with her parents, Minnie was preceded in death by her two husbands, Harrison Ready and Lewis Bannister, two sisters and a brother.

Mrs. Bannister was a homemaker and formerly worked at Texas Instruments. She was a member of the Mt. Edwin Methodist Church in Woodford County and enjoyed quilting.

She is survived by her son, Lewis H. Ready of Versailles, two grandsons, Mark Ready and Mike (Jennifer) Ready, and a great granddaughter, Ashley Ready.

Services will be held on Monday, June 4 ^th beginning at 2:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Wheeler will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Rose Crest Cemetery in Versailles. Visitation will be on Monday from 12 – 2 PM at the funeral home.
