Obituary

Michael Brian VanEtten, 53, of Lexington, passed away, Wednesday, February 12, 2020 in Lexington.  Michael is the husband of Kimberly (Wright) Baker-VanEtten.  Michael was born June 16, 1966 in Lackawanna, NY to Carolyn Ann (Krum) VanEtten of Port Ewen, NY and the late William Joseph VanEtten.

Including his father, Michael was preceded in death by an uncle, Thomas VanEtten.

Michael was a member of the New Beginnings Apostolic Church in Lexington, where he was very active.  Michael was a general laborer, and a U.S. Navy veteran.

Including his wife and mother, Michael is survived by a son Kaylor VanEtten;  four step children, Michael Wright, Lexington, Jarrod Baker, Lexington, Gage Mitchell, Lawrenceburg, and Lauren Mitchell, Lexington;  four grandchildren, Blake, Bryce, Colton & River Wright; a brother, Will VanEtten, Port Ewen, NY;  aunts and uncles, Jim & Mary Lou Jones, Port Ewen, NY and Joseph & Donna VanEtten, Maine.

Services for Michael will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Lee and Michael Ivey officiating. Burial will follow at the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12 noon till time of service Saturday.
