John Michael "Mike" Spencer, age 69, passed away Sunday, Wednesday, October 5, 2022 in Salvisa, KY.  Mike was born May 31, 1953 in Woodford County, Kentucky to the late George Philip Spencer, Sr. and Evelyn Canter Spencer.

Including his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Michelle Spencer;  and his brother, George Philip Spencer, Jr.

Mike was a unique individual.  He studied hermeticism, ancient religions and astrology. He loved helping people, fishing, and was an amazing mechanic.  Mike was an Airman E-2 in the United States Air Force and a former aircraft mechanic with McDonald Douglas and Rockwell International.

Mike is survived by his nephews, Travis Spencer and his wife Cherise, of Hampton, VA, and Chris Purvis of Lexington, KY;  and a great niece, Keely Faye Spencer.

A private memorial gathering in honor of Mike will be held at a later date.
