Michael Keith Forbes, 63, passed away Wednesday, February 5, 2020 in Lawrenceburg.  Michael is the husband of 45 years to Linda Howard Forbes of Lawrenceburg.  Michael was born March 6, 1956 in Ashland, KY to the late James Franklin Forbes and Thelma Louise Cremeans Forbes.

Michael was a member of the Lawrenceburg Community Church and retired from Osram Sylvania after 42 years of service.  Michael was a 1974 graduate of Russell High School.

Including his wife, Michael is survived by a son, Steven Michael Forbes and his wife Wendy, a daughter, Melissa Kay Case;  a grandson, Kurtis Forbes (Lauryn Briar); two great grandsons, Oliver Forbes and Elliott Forbes; his sister, Mary Burke and her husband Don; a very special niece, Eryn Burke;  and several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

Service for Michael will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Broughton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 11:00 A.M., till time of service Sunday at 2:00 P.M.

Honorary bearers will be Don Burke, Kurtis Forbes, Eryn Burke, Paul Murmann and William Carpenter.
