Mazie Margaret Railey, age 84, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on Monday March 11, 2024, at the Christian Care Communities of Louisville.

Mazie was a native of Anderson County, KY.  She retired from Humana after 20 years of service and was a longtime member of Southeast Christian Church.  Mazie was a resident of Friendship House – Christian Care Communities of Louisville.

Mazie was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. C. Marion and Mazie Railey; sisters, Fern McClain and Roberta Pacheco; and brother, Charles Railey.

Left to cherish her memory are sister-in-law, Carol Railey, of St. Charles, MO; brother-in-law, Rev. Roy McClain of Georgetown, IN; many nieces, nephews and numerous friends; and her close friends, Joyce Peach and Richard Sammons, who so lovingly cared for her.

Mazie brought so much love and laughter to our world.  She loved our Lord and wanted to share Him with everyone she knew.  She loved to tell stories and share her life experiences with everyone she knew.  Everyone who knew her was blessed by her and her infectious spirit.

Per Mazie's wishes, a graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 16, 2024 at the Corinth Christian Church Cemetery, 1011 Corinth Road, Lawrenceburg, KY  40342 with Pastor Terry Cooper officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mazie's memory to Southeast Christian Church Building Fund or the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
