Marion Ray "Maynard" Price, 65, husband of Linda Goode Price, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at U.K. Hospital in Lexington. Born May 12, 1953 in Louisville, KY, Maynard was the son of the late Homer Leon Price and Nannie Green Price.

An employee of Katayama American Company in Shelbyville, Maynard was a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church. He enjoyed dancing, camping, and the Louisville Cardinals.

Including his wife, Maynard is survived by sons, Robert (Heather) Price of Mt. Eden, Terry (Ashley) Price of Shelbyville and Shane (Brenda) Wiggington of Elizabethtown; a step-son, Derrick (Candice) Curtsinger of Lawrenceburg; a step-daughter, Kristal (Gary) Price of Lawrenceburg; 4 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a brother, Larry C. (Donna) Price of Mt. Eden; two sisters, Dottie (Ron) Mills of Brandenburg and Doris (Ted) Dibble of Corydon, IN.

He was preceded in death by siblings, Homer Leon Price, Jr., Shirley Ann Chesser, Charles Walter Price and Linda Carolyn Price.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6 ^th beginning at 1:00 PM at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Bro. Roy Temple, Jr. will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5 – 8 PM on Wednesday.
