Funeral Service Broadcast for Maxine Cooper Stinnett

Maxine Cooper Stinnett, 82, wife of Gary Stinnett, passed away December 17, 2025 at University of Kentucky Healthcare in Lexington.

Born in Anderson County, KY on December 20, 1942, Maxine was the daughter of the late James Arthur Cooper and Sarah Alice Perry Cooper.  Including her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Clayton "Tim" Ruble; two sisters, Margaret Cooper Perry and Peggy Cooper Henderson; and a brother, James Donald "Don" Cooper.

Maxine was a retired secretary for the KY Department of Insurance.  She formerly worked at J.C. Penney, and Gloria Marshall's.  A lifetime member of the Corinth Christian Church, she enjoyed making jewelry, hunting and fishing.

Along with her husband Gary, she is survived by her son, Rusty (Karen) Ruble of Lawrenceburg; two stepdaughters, Rhonda Stinnett (David) Hughes of Lawrenceburg and Terri Stinnett (Wes) Teater of New Market, TN; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a sister, Patsy Ann Cooper of Frankfort.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Terry Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in the Corinth Cemetery.  Visitation will be 4 – 8 pm Monday and after 9 am Tuesday until the time of service.

Memorials in lieu of flowers are suggested to Camp Calvery, 475 Camp Calvary Lane, Mackville, KY 40040.
