Mary Doris Armstrong Williams, 89, wife of Carl Williams, Jr., passed away November 14, 2022 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center ER.  Born in Monticello, KY on June 6, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Benton Armstrong and Nell Elizabeth Jones Armstrong.

Mary Doris and her husband Carl owned the Williams Clothing Store in downtown Lawrenceburg for 30 years.  A member of First Baptist Church since 1951, she was a sports fan and an avid University of Kentucky fan.

Including Carl, her husband of 67 years, she is survived by two sons, Mike (wife Margie) Williams of Paducah and Paul (wife Dana Hawkins) Williams of Lawrenceburg; three grandchildren, Megan (husband Rev. Alan) Redditt, Jay Williams, and Keifer Williams; three great grandchildren, Cali, Brooks, and Pryse; a sister-in-law Margaret Armstrong; and four nieces.  Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Mallory Yvonne Williams, a sister Ida Frances Hughes, and a brother Lawrence "Bud" Armstrong.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2022 from 11 AM – 1 PM followed by the service beginning at 1:00 PM Saturday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Dr. Bob Ehr and Rev. Alan Redditt will officiate the service.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Kirby, Jay Williams, Alan Redditt, Tony Woolums, Mike Wainscott, and Chad Stratton.
