Mary Lee Shingleton Morris, 83, passed away Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Essex Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Louisville. Born February 11, 1934 in Frankfort, KY, Mary was the daughter of the late Oscar Powers Shingleton and Louise Nichols Shingleton.

A former employee of Florida Tile, Mary enjoyed quilting, gardening, working in flowers, and watching the fish in her fish tank.

Mary is survived by five children, Joseph Richardson Glass (Pamela) of Cornishville, Robert Eddie Glass (Regenia Faye) of New Amsterdam, IN, Johnny Andy Glass of Millersburg, Rosemary Woodcock (Charles) of Louisville, and Anna Marie Conder (Robert W.) of Salvisa; a step-daughter, Regina Morris of Springfield, IL; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 5 step great grandchildren; 7 step great-great grandchildren; three brothers, Oscar "Red" Shingleton (Joyce), Earl Shingleton (Jane), Jackie Shingleton, Alice Moreland, all of Lawrenceburg, and Becky Sue Reed (Terry) of TX. Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by siblings, Billy P., Everett, Ernest, Eddie, and Gerald Shingleton, and Nancy Copeland.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 28 ^th beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Alton Cemetery in Anderson County. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 PM Thursday and after 12:00 noon Friday.
