Mary Jane Willard Cox, 74, wife of Alvin Ray Cox, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at her home in Lawrenceburg.  Born November 19, 1946 in Anderson County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth A. Willard and Lula Mae Robinson Willard.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Edgar Willard.

Mary retired following 43 years as an employee at Rand McNally in Versailles.  She was a Kentucky Colonel and formerly a member of the Hebron Christian Church.

Including Ray, her husband of 56 years, she is survived by a daughter, Melissa June Peach and her husband Marty of Lawrenceburg; two granddaughters, Bethany Jane Peach and Brittany Lynn (husband Ben) Hardin; two great grandchildren, Hannah Raeleigh Hardin and Gracelyn Nicole Murphy; and two sisters, Allie Belle Terrell and Wilma June Barnett.

Funeral service will be Friday, Oct. 8 ^th beginning at 11:00 AM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Hank Bowman officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be 5 – 8 PM Thursday.
