Martha Pennington Turley Agee, 74, wife of the late J.B. Agee, Jr., passed on to her Heavenly home on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.  Born in Lancaster, KY on January 25, 1947, Martha was the daughter of the late James and Marie Turley.

A homemaker, she formerly worked as a teacher with Bluegrass Head Start in Anderson County.  Martha loved the Lord and enjoyed singing and sharing her talents in several area churches including Anderson, Franklin and Scott Counties.  She recorded three music cd's, loved making crafts, and enjoyed fellowshipping with her Christian family.

Martha is survived by her children, Michelle (husband Rodney) Peach of Anderson County, Bryan (wife Kelly) Agee of Frankfort, Robbie (wife Heather) Agee of Anderson County, and William "Billy" Agee of Lawrenceburg; 12 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 4 nieces.  Along with husband and parents, Martha was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Richardson and Loraine King.

Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 31, 2022 at Westside Community Church, 1311 Versailles Rd., Lawrenceburg with Pastors F.D. Robinson, Jr., Terry Mattingly, Bobby Proctor officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2 – 5 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home and after 10 AM Monday until the time of service at Westside Community Church.
