Funeral Service Broadcast for Marsha Goodwin

Marsha Elaine Stump Goodwin, age 68, wife of the late William "Billy" Elmer Goodwin, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2025, in Frankfort. Born on July 8, 1956, in Nelson Co., KY, she was the daughter of the late John Robert Stump and Wanda Joyce Tingle Stump.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two children, Melissa Joyce Sharp Bray and Philip Ray Sharp; two sisters, Jeanie Redmon and Robin Arnold; and a brother-in-law, Rickey Hall.

Marsha was known for being blunt, straight forward, and honest. She was the person you went to when you needed an honest opinion, which she'd give and make you laugh. Caring for her children, grandchildren, and her dog, was her greatest joy in life. She loved doing things with her family, whether it'd be shopping, going outside, camping, listening to country music, or going to the zoo.

Marsha is survived by three children, Russell Goodwin (Barbie), Jamie Goodwin (Heather), and William "Shorty" Goodwin; a son-in-law, Mark Bray; two sisters, Kathy Gates (Dale) and Judy Hall; two brother-in-law's, David Redmon and Bobby Arnold; twelve grandchildren, Bailey, Matthew, Dustin, Chance, Melissa "Sissy", Mark, Jr., Josh, Jacob, Zach, Jace, Brittney, and Kasey; and a great grandchild Bralynn.

Funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 28, 2025 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Wheeler officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until time of service on Monday at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home. Family has chosen cremation following the service.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Dustin, Mark, Jr., Chance, Bengi, Michael, and Jason.
