Glenda Marlene Barnett Rowe, 69, beloved wife of 47 years to David Alan Rowe, went to her Heavenly home on August 14, 2025, at her residence in Lawrenceburg, KY. Born on November 9, 1955, in West Liberty, KY, she was the daughter of the late Robert Bruce Barnett and Eliza Taulbee Barnett.

Marlene graduated from Breathitt County High School in 1973 and dedicated 44 years of service in Quality Control at Osram Sylvania before retiring. She was a devoted member of Hope Community Church, where she found great joy in volunteering in the children's ministry. Marlene had a passion for the outdoors, spending countless hours tending to her garden and flower beds. Known for her huge heart, she loved people deeply—especially children—and often spoke in her final days about the importance of "giving those kids Jesus." She cherished her family, sharing a special bond with her God-given granddaughter, Sophia, and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Marlene's faith in Jesus was the foundation of her life, and she desired more than anything for others to know Him as their Savior.

She is survived by her husband, David Alan Rowe of Lawrenceburg, KY; her siblings, Paul Barnett (Andrea) of New Haven, IN, Van Barnett (Shirley) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Steve Barnett (Connie) of Versailles, KY, Kevin Barnett (Shelia) of Macon, GA, and Marsha McDonald of Lawrenceburg, KY; her God-given children, Michael and Amy Osbourne, and their daughter, Sophia, of Lawrenceburg, KY; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her beloved cat, Malachi.

Marlene's wishes were to be cremated, and no public service is scheduled at this time.
