Marla Jo Cunningham Williams, 68, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Born August 3, 1949 in Gary, Indiana, Marla was the daughter of the late Marion Stanley Cunningham and Mary Louise Dhu Cunningham.

Marla was a former manager of the Subway in Lawrenceburg and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed her coffee and was a Huddle House groupie. Marla was called Mom by many and would give the shirt off her back to help anyone. She loved her family, especially her grandkids.

Marla is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ronald Louis Williams; her two children, James "Jim" (Krista) Williams of New Palestine, IN and Jennifer (John) Gritton of Haubstadt, IN; three grandchildren, Trinity Williams, Jacob Gritton, and Jayden Gritton; her siblings, Nona (Ben) Johnson of Dyer, TN, John (Marsha) Cunningham of Tacoma, WA, and Deidra (Paul) Carter of Myrtle Beach, SC. Along with her parents, Marla was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Cunningham and Kim Cunningham.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 beginning at 1:00 PM at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
