Mark Stephen Williams, 59, of Lawrenceburg passed away suddenly Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center - E.R. He is the son of Beatrice "B. Jo" McGaughey Williams of Lawrenceburg and the late Lindsey P. Williams.

Born October 18, 1955 in Lawrenceburg, Mark received an Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance form Bluegrass Community & Technical College. He is a maintenance employee of the Anderson County Board of Education and previously worked in copier service for Pitney Bowes in Lexington. He is a member of the Sand Spring Baptist Church.

Along with his mother, Mark is survived by his son, Brandon Joseph Williams of Morehead; two grandchildren, Landon Cole Williams and Karah Lynn Williams; a brother, Allen T. Williams of Versailles; and a cousin, Nancy Dawson of Lawrenceburg.

Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Ellery Milburn officiating. Visitation will be from 2 – 4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the services.

Honorary bearers will be Devin Gritton, Nathan Cheak, Steve Drury, Tommy Roddy, Terry Williamson, Stewart Gash, and the Anderson County Board of Education maintenance, housekeeping, and food service employees.
