Mark Anthony Hatchett, 49, of Wildwood, FL, formerly of Lawrenceburg, KY, passed away on April 23, 2024.  Born in Lexington, KY on January 26, 1975, Mark was the son of Mabel Farkus Rogers of Wildwood, FL and the late Bernice Carroll Hatchett.

Along with his father, Mark was preceded in death by his uncles Gary Hatchett and David Hatchett; an aunt, Margaret Hatchett Baxter; and a cousin, Preston Chilton.

A 1994 graduate of Anderson County High School, Mark was an avid UK fan and loved cheering on the Wildcats basketball team.  He had a heart of service and loved to help people. He also loved to keep his family and friends laughing.  Mark held several different jobs throughout his life; he worked as a tile installer, utility operator, and as a hospitality and service specialist for hotels in Florida.

Mark is survived by two sisters, Carrie Hatchett and Kim Hatchett Wilkinson. Mark also had extended family that not only loved him, but cared for him they are; his Aunt Jane Hatchett Chilton and Susan Hardy Hatchett; his cousins Jackie, Andy, Lauryn, Venita, Doug, Jamie, and Troy; and his nieces Chasity, MaryClaire, Lila, and StellaRose.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Noal Cotton, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Lawrenceburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. and after 10 A.M. Tuesday till the time of service.
