Marjorie Steinberg Service Broadcast

Marjorie Jo Steinberg, age 58, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2022.  Marjorie was born July 12, 1963 in Lexington, KY to the late Dr. Sidney Steinberg and Ellen Sugarman Steinberg.

Marjorie was a loving and giving person, and was thankful for all the friendships she was blessed to have. She donated her time, serving in the Salvation Army and Operation Care.  Marjorie, along with her mother and siblings, were honored to be in a military family.  Her father,  a U.S.  Army Colonel, and a Chief Surgeon, was stationed in several areas of the States and other countries, allowing them the opportunity to see different parts of the world.  Marjorie was a 1982 Franklin County High School graduate, received her Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the University of Kentucky, was a member of the Zeta, Tau, Alpha Sorority, and received her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Strayer University.  She was a member of the Family Worship Center,  and had attended the Forks of Elkhorn Baptist Church.  Marjorie was a hard worker and had worked for Nifco, Montaplast, McDonalds in Frankfort and Midway, and currently was employed with Algood in Lawrenceburg.  She loved writing, U.K. Sports, butterflies, the color purple, and her dog Casey, who proceeded her in death.

Marjorie is survived by her companion, Harlan Crawford of Lawrenceburg, KY;  her siblings, Jill Steinberg (husband Matthew Conner) of Boston, MA,  and Don Steinberg (wife Cora) of Cincinnati, OH;  step mother, Sheila Steinberg of Union, KY; several nieces, nephews and cousins;  and her dearest friends, Ken & Michelle King of Lawrenceburg, KY.

A celebration of Marjorie's life will be 5:00 P.M., Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Lester and Bro. Tony Andrade officiating.  A memorial visitation will be from 3:00 P.M. till time of service at 5 P.M. on Thursday.
