Marie Harrington Withrow, age 73, wife of the late Oscar "Buddy" Withrow, Jr. passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021.  Marie was born February 27, 1948 in Paris, KY to the late Robert Lee Harrington, Sr. and  Helen Ruth Yazell Harrington.

Including her husband and parents, Marie was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Lee Harrington, Jr.

Marie was a 1966 graduate of Bourbon County High School, a former employee with Kentucky State Government, a member of Frankfort Church of the Ascension  and also the Frankfort Women's Auxiliary.  Marie was lovingly  known by her family and friends as a "Tough Old Bird".  She dearly loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren,  and also her fur babies.

Marie is survived by her daughter, Ruth Marie Withrow Kurtz and husband Robert of Lawrenceburg; a sister, Norma Jean Robida of Frankfort;  grandchildren, Kaysie Pacey and husband Colton, of Frankfort, Courtney Ryan and husband Matt and Saydie Kurtz, all of Lawrenceburg;  great grandchildren, Ashton Pacey, Abigail Pacey, Emerson Ryan and Miles Ryan;  nephews, Russell Robida of Frankfort, Robert Harrington, III, Scott Harrington, and Byron Harrington, all of Hardinsburg;  special friends, Lois & Carl Sutton of Lawrenceburg and Susan & Rick Kurtz of Frankfort.

A memorial visitation for Marie will be held Monday, November 22, 2021  at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home from 5 - 7 P.M.
