Obituary

Margot Ann Banzhaf Campbell, 89, passed away Sunday, April 26, 2020.  Born January 19, 1931 in Stuttgart, Germany, Margot was the daughter of the late Otto Ernest Banzhaf and Magdalene Eisele Banzhaf.

Along with her parents, Margot was preceded in death by a sister.

Margot was a survivor of World War II and the Nazi Regime.  She became a war bride and came bravely to America.  In the states she became an employee of IBM in Lexington and was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church.

Margot was survived by her son Gerald Banzhaf; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren, all of Germany; and three special friends, Brenda Gardner of Lawrenceburg, Marquita Robinson and Brenda Waddle, both of Salvisa.

Private services will be held at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.  Dr. Bob Ehr will officiate the service.  Mrs. Campbell chose cremation and will be sent back to her beloved Germany.
